Work with a module's list and board
Switch between a module's board and list, find records, choose what cards and columns show, see totals, and import or export.
Every module opens from the left menu, under Modules. Its page works like the deals page: a board with a column per stage, and a list. A module without stages has the list only.
Switch between the board and the list
At the top right, click Kanban (the board icon) or List. These buttons only show when the module has a board. The module opens on the board each time.
The board
- Each column is a stage, with the number of records in it. If the module has an Amount field, the column also shows its total.
- Won and lost stages sit at the end, after a divider. Records made before the module had a board wait in an Unsorted column.
- Each card shows the record's name, a coloured dot for its next activity, and the fields you chose with Card, who owns it and when it last changed.
- Drag a card to another column to move it to that stage. Click a card to open the record.
- Quick and the module's name, at the top of each column, adds a record straight into that stage.
Above the board, the counters narrow it to what needs you: All, Overdue, Planned, No activity, and Unassigned when there are any. Click one again to go back to all.
The board also has Automation rules (see Automate a module) and, for owners, admins and managers, the gear button to manage stages (see Set up a module's stages).
The list
The list shows one row per record, with the record's name first. Click a name to open it.

- Click a column heading to sort by it.
- If the module has an Amount field, a line under the list adds it up across everything in the current filter, for example Total amount: ₹1,20,000 across 12 records.
- Tick the boxes on the left to select records and change many at once, as in any list. See Lists and boards.
Find records
- Search at the top right looks through the records' names.
- Filter narrows the list or board by any field, including the module's own. Saved keeps a filter for later.
Filters work the same as on leads and deals. See Lists and boards.
Choose what cards and columns show
- On the board, click Card to choose what each card shows.
- In the list, click Columns to choose the columns.
Besides the module's own fields, you can show Number, Stage, Owner, Updated, Created by and Modified by, plus Previous stage and In stage since for a module with a board, and Employee for one attached to team members. Your choice is kept for you on this browser.
Import and export
Click the settings button at the top right (Import, export and more).
- Import brings records in from a CSV or Excel file. The file's columns are matched to the module's fields: the name, the module's own fields, the owner and observers. File, calculated and Bind to a record fields are not imported, nor are the links to deals, contacts and companies. New records go into the first stage. A column with the record's ID updates records you already have.
- Export takes the list out as a file, with the columns the list shows. It works from the list, not the board.
Importing needs the right to create records in the module, and exporting the right to export. See Import and export records.
