Move your data from Bitrix24

Copy companies, contacts, leads, deals and their activities from a Bitrix24 portal, with pipelines, stages and fields, and undo it if you need to.

Guide 6302Updated

If your business used Bitrix24 before, the Bitrix24 migrator copies your CRM data across, so you do not start from an empty CRM. It makes your pipelines, stages and fields first, then copies companies, contacts, leads, deals and their activities. Nothing is written to Bitrix24: the copy only reads.

Only owners and admins can run it, because a copy makes pipelines and fields as well as records.

1. Make a webhook in Bitrix24

The migrator reads Bitrix24 through an inbound webhook, a private address Bitrix24 gives you.

  1. In Bitrix24, open Developer resources (under Applications or Market), then Other, then Inbound webhook.
  2. Tick the access rights CRM (crm) and Users (user). Nothing else is needed.
  3. Save, and copy the Webhook to call REST API address. It ends in a code and a slash.

Make the webhook as a Bitrix24 administrator, so the copy can see every record.

2. Connect the portal

  1. In TicAte CRM, open Bitrix24 migrator under Apps in the left menu.
  2. Paste the address into Inbound webhook address.
  3. Click Connect and read the portal.

The address is kept sealed and never shown again. The migrator then reads your users, pipelines and stages, fields, and how many records of each kind there are. This takes a few seconds.

3. Check the plan

Before anything is copied, the migrator shows what it will do:

  • What to copy: tick companies, contacts, leads, deals and Activities. Choose what happens When a record is already here: Leave it alone, or Fill its empty fields from Bitrix24. If phone numbers lack a country code, choose the country they are in.
  • Pipelines and stages: each deal category becomes a pipeline, and lead statuses become lead stages. A pipeline or stage with the same name here is reused. Won and lost are kept.
  • People: responsible persons are matched by email. Pick a Fallback owner, for anyone not matched; the copy cannot start without one.
  • Fields: Bitrix24 fields are matched to fields here by name. The rest are made with the same name and type, or left out if you choose Don’t copy. Every copied record also gets a Bitrix24 ID field.

If you change something in Bitrix24 meanwhile, click Read again.

4. Start the copy

Click Start copying. The copy runs in the background at around a thousand records a minute, so you can leave the page and come back. Click Stop to pause it; what was copied so far stays, and Carry on from here continues later.

When it finishes, What happened shows how many records were added, updated, left alone and could not be copied. Fix any failed records in Bitrix24 and run the copy again; records already here are recognised and not added twice.

Undo a copy

If the result is not what you wanted, click Undo: remove the … items this copy made. The records it made go to the recycle bin and its activities are deleted. Records that were in the CRM before are not touched.

Earlier copies are listed at the bottom of the page; click New copy to start another. Forget this copy removes only the connection and its history; the copied records stay.
