Lead sources overview
Bring leads in by themselves from Facebook and Instagram ads, Google Ads, IndiaMART, your website and other apps.
Lead sources are the places leads come from without anybody typing them in. Each one shows what arrived and what it became.
Open Lead sources in the left menu. You need the owner, admin or manager role to add or change a source. Removing one needs the owner or admin role.
The kinds of source
Press New source and pick what brings the leads in:
- Facebook & Instagram: lead ads on your Facebook Pages and on Instagram, in as they are filled. See Connect Facebook and Instagram lead ads.
- CRM form: a form for your website, a link or a QR code. It opens in CRM forms. See Create a CRM form.
- Webhook: Zapier, Make, Pabbly or your own website posting the lead's details.
- Google Ads: lead form assets on your Google Ads campaigns.
- IndiaMART: enquiries pushed from your IndiaMART seller account.
Every source has a switch to stop or restart it and a bin icon to remove it. Leads it brought in stay.
Set up Google Ads, IndiaMART or a webhook
When you add one of these, a window opens with four tabs.
Connect shows the URL and Secret to give the sender, with steps for each:
- Google Ads: in the campaign's Lead form asset, open Lead delivery option → Webhook integration. Paste the URL as the Webhook URL and the secret as the Key, then press Send test data.
- IndiaMART: in your seller account, open Lead Manager → Settings → CRM integration. Give it the URL, and the secret as the CRM key.
- Webhook: have the other app send the lead to the URL with the secret.
Issue a new secret replaces the secret. The old one stops working at once, so update the sender too.
Mapping says which CRM lead field each of the sender's fields fills. Anything not mapped goes into the lead's custom fields under its own name. Press Save mapping.
Defaults sets the Source label on the lead, the Starting stage, and Who gets these leads: one person, people in turn, or a department in turn.
Arrivals lists everything that came in, newest first, marked created, duplicate or with the reason it failed. Click a lead's name to open it, or what came in to see exactly what was sent.
